What does royalty-free mean?

Once you purchase a royalty-free product, you may use it multiple times for multiple projects without paying additional fees.Royalty-free pricing is based solely on the size of the product you need, not the specific use. Royalty-free products provide a solution for every budget, with few usage restrictions. Once you pay the fee for a royalty-free product, you can use the images as frequently and creatively as you'd like. (Pornographic, defamatory, libelous or otherwise unlawful use of any image is, of course, prohibited.)

What does rights-protected mean?

Rights-protected products are the products with a license and fee based on your specific use. The fee is calculated from several factors including print run, size, placement, duration of use and geographic distribution. At the time you order a rights-protected product, you will be asked to submit information that will determine your licensing fee.

What does "Imaj Deposu" mean?

"Imaj Deposu" is the pool of products created by the Turkish Photographers. You could have both Rights-Protected and Royalty-Free products from this section.

How does your licensing work?

For the Royalty-Free products,you can publish our imagery for any use including brochures, ads, billboards, CD covers, Internet, intranet, extranet, television or video projects. The only thing you cannot do with our imagery, without a further resale license, is resell the image directly or create objects based on the image for resale in production runs of greater than 10,000 this includes postcards, greeting cards, posters and T-shirts.

A resale license is easy to obtain with a phone call or an e-mail and a brief description of your project.

How can I create a lightbox?

To create a lightbox you need to register at our website. As you registered you could create a lightbox for each topic  and e-mail this lightbox to another person. Each time you create the lightbox it will be kept 2 months.

How do I get a non-watermarked preview?

Only registered users who have entered a mailing profile and billing country by completing the registration form have access to non-watermarked preview.

How secure is your web site?

The answer is that any sensitive data-your credit cards, personal profile or billing address-is encrypted, meaning the data is scrambled when it leaves your computer and is unscrambled when it reaches ours. Our security certificate is provided by Webtrust Certification Authorities reassure you that your transaction is secure.

Why RGB instead of CMYK?

IMAJDEPOSU  RGB images are high-resolution drum scans digitally color-corrected by professionally referencing both the original film and the artist's vision. For Web or multimedia projects, RGB files are perfect. For print production, however, RGB images need to be converted to CMYK.

Why CMYK conversion?

Because the RGB color space is much larger than that of CMYK, we believe that you will achieve better image reproduction if the service bureau or printer of your choice makes the conversion from RGB to CMYK.

Conversion is a process affected by many variables and is best left to the group outputting your film or running your presses. They will know their equipment best and will make the best recommendations about how your choice of ink and paper will interact with their output devices. In short, your local service bureau can most effectively ensure the best reproduction of your Imaj Deposu images.
